Dell's death in the mobile market greatly exaggerated.....

Apparently the death of Dell as a mobile device supplier is not the case. According to this report. The simple answer is that they see no reason to bring any new handsets out at the moment.

I think the whole smartphone/windows mobile has really took over from that sort of disconnected pocket pc space on a consumer level products. If dell were to lauch a new device, I'm not sure if they wouldn't end up just branding a HTC device like they do with their other offerings (printers/ lexmark).

Lee, I suspect your probably right, seems the most econmical thing to do nowadays...
